devResume Docs

Write your resume in YAML. Export to PDF. Share as a public profile. Contribute themes and fonts.

devResume.io is a free tool for tech professionals to write their resumes as code. You edit YAML, see a live preview, export a PDF, and optionally publish a public profile at app.devresume.io/r/<your-slug>.

You can try the editor and preview without signing up. An account unlocks saving resumes, exporting PDFs without a watermark, and publishing public profiles.

This site covers:

  • The YAML format your resume is written in, including every section type.
  • Theme and font contribution to the open-source devresume-themes repo.
  • FAQ and edge cases around formatting, multi-line text, and PDF export.
